New Years Resolutions

Aparantly some people actually go to the length of writing down “resolutions” for the new year. Normally I just mumble something about fitness, savings and or study.

I’ve spent a fair part of the last year morose about the declining state of our society and the concurrent decline in the Australian polity. Translated, I’ve been sad about Howard. And Beazley. And Rudd. And at times the Greens. And everyone’s attitude to politics.

Well it’s all going to change in 2007. I doubt I could actually get happy about the status quo, so I’ll just have to go on an almighty crusade to change the status quo.

So my resolutions: 1.) Save some money (so I can donated it to or spend it on the upcoming election campaign), 2.) get fit (by doing leg work on the upcoming election), 3.) study (what’s happening in Australia, instead of hiding from it).

If I’ve got any time after that, I’d like to see this blog top ten thousand visits a month.

Well I am making a firm commitment to have more sex in 2007 than I had in 2006.

Apart from that, I am making a firm commitment to getting revenge this year on the rednecks in this hick educational facility that can’t tell the difference between equality and equity.

And eventually pulling my finger out and writing something for the roo.
