Attack Dog MP’s Website Advertises Dating, Weight Loss and Astrology!
It appears someone forgot to pay for the re-registration of her website. Sophie.com.au, formerlly the website of Liberal MP Sophie Mirabella (Panopolous), now advertises weight loss, astrology and dating websites.
The Wayback machine’s various entries for sophie.com.au can be found here.
Is this simply a matter of someone forgetting to pay for the re-registration of the domain, or does this indicate that the MP who made a name for herself with her inflamatory statements no longer intends to contest the 2007 federal election?
I’ve written to Sophie’s office for comment.

I’ve heard nothing about any retirement; I think incompetence is probably a bit more likely.
